About the role
A Lunexa Handyman Pro performs repair, maintenance, assembly, and installation tasks through eligible service opportunities. You work independently, communicate professionally, and complete accepted Work Order scope to Lunexa standards.
What you may do
- Repairs and minor maintenance
- Furniture and fixture assembly
- Mounting and installation
- Drywall patching and touch-ups (non-structural)
- General handyman tasks within your documented skills
How service opportunities work
Browse eligible opportunities, review the scope, expected compensation, location, and details, then choose whether to accept. There is no required weekly schedule.
Work Orders & scope
Each accepted opportunity has a defined scope. You complete the documented tasks and report completion with photos and notes.
Tools & equipment
You bring your own reliable tools appropriate to the tasks you accept, unless a specific Work Order states otherwise.
Safety expectations
Work safely, follow applicable safety practices, use appropriate PPE, and stop and report any condition that is unsafe or outside the agreed scope.
Photos / documentation
Document work with before and after photos and notes so quality and completion are clear.
Customer communication
Communicate professionally and promptly with customers about timing, scope, and any issues.
Skills & experience
You work within your demonstrated skills and may be asked to describe your experience. Skill match affects which opportunities you are eligible for.
Applicable licensing
You are NOT authorized to perform licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, or other regulated trade work unless you hold the legally required license/credential and the Work Order permits it. Lunexa does not represent that every Handyman Pro may perform regulated trade work.
Independent contractor relationship
The Lunexa Handyman Pro opportunity is designed for independent service providers. Your classification is established through the applicable agreement during onboarding. No minimum work or exclusivity is required, subject to that agreement.
Compensation
Compensation for Handyman opportunities is shown per eligible opportunity before you accept. Lunexa does not guarantee a minimum number of opportunities or earnings. Any approved tier or compensation structure follows the canonical Lunexa business rules in effect.
Specific Handyman compensation tiers or rates are published on eligible Work Orders and in your Pro account. Where a canonical rate is not yet configured, neutral per-opportunity pricing is shown.
