Terms of Service

Lunexa connects homeowners and businesses in New York City and North New Jersey with independent cleaning professionals ("Pros") for residential and light commercial cleaning services. Lunexa facilitates scheduling, payment, and customer support, but the cleaning services themselves are performed by the Pros.

When you book a cleaning, you will receive an upfront price quote based on your home size, service type, and selected add-ons. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider, Stripe. By submitting a booking, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the total quoted amount.

A booking is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed. Until then, your requested time slot is not guaranteed.

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are free.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a fee, as disclosed at the time of booking.
• If your Pro does not arrive or cannot complete the service, contact customer support and we'll arrange a complimentary re-clean at no extra cost.

Pros are independent contractors, not employees of Lunexa. Lunexa does not employ the Pros and is not responsible for their individual acts or omissions beyond the facilitation of the Service. Each Pro is solely responsible for their own work, equipment, and compliance with applicable laws.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking and to keep your contact and address information current.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, or national law.
• Misrepresent your identity or the details of your booking.
• Harass, threaten, or endanger any Pro or Lunexa staff member.
• Attempt to bypass our payment system or pay a Pro directly outside the platform.

Communication Monitoring: All messages sent through the Lunexa in-app messaging system may be reviewed by Lunexa administrative staff for safety, quality, and policy compliance. Contact information (phone numbers, email addresses) is automatically masked to protect both parties and ensure all communication and booking stays on the platform. Flagged messages are reviewed by our team but are never blocked from sending — we err on the side of letting communication through.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunexa disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that any particular Pro will be available for your booking.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunexa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Lunexa harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and the applicable laws of the State of New York for services performed there. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in those states.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
